    Today,we'll walk through  a narrow and steep path leading to a dense forest of pine and rhododendron trees.     To acclimatize to the higher elevations we will encounter towards the Thorung La Pass, we spend a second night in Manang. Today, we hike to Parken Gompa (3945m) on the hillside above Manang, immersing ourselves in the rich cultural tapestry of the region. The picturesque landscapes and enchanting Tibetan-style villages offer breathtaking views of Annapurna IV, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Tarke Kang as a magnificent backdrop. Upon reaching Parken Gompa, we are captivated by the serenity and intricate Buddhist architecture. Engaging with the resident monks, we absorb their wisdom and find solace in their presence.

    Returning to Manang, we utilize the rest of the day to acclimatize, engaging in gentle activities such as strolling through the town or practicing yoga. Reflecting on the day's experiences, we allow our bodies and minds to rejuvenate before proceeding towards the challenging Thorong La Pass, the highest point of our trek.

    After breakfast, we begin our ascent through diverse terrains, immersing ourselves in the rich culture of the Gurung and Tibetan communities. We'll enjoy splendid views from a chorten and make our way towards Tengi, where we can soak in the scenic beauty. Venturing northwest, we'll traverse the Jarshyang Khola valley, passing through scrub juniper and alpine grasses, until we reach the charming Gunsang village, where the majestic presence of Annapurna II and IV greets us.

    Descending gently, we'll encounter friendly locals in quaint villages along the way before arriving at the serene Yak Kharka. Here, yaks graze in nearby fields, and we'll have the opportunity to visit their camp.
